Former All Saints College student Kurt Warden has been selected in the Newcastle representative rugby league team.

Warden attended senior high school at St Mary’s, Maitland, before he enjoyed stints at the Brisbane Broncos and Newcastle Knights.
The 22-year-old Nelson Bay native now plays first grade with South Newcastle.
The prop was named alongside Lions teammate Brendan Simpson in the 20-man Rebels squad, which was announced on Monday night.
Five players from the undefeated Lakes side were picked, including halfback Brad Murray and hooker Chris Adams, as well as half-a-dozen from three-time reigning Newcastle Rugby League champions Western Suburbs.
Two-time Maitland Pickers premiership-winning forward Dan Metcalfe, now with Cessnock, also got the nod with three other Goannas. No players from Maitland or Kurri Kurri were named.
The squad will commence training at Townson Oval on Thursday night ahead of their first NSW Country Championship assignment on June 13.
The Rebels will be coached by Todd Edwards and Steve Storrie, who take over from Paul Skovgaard.
