It was the first time Stoner had taken part in the famous 1.6 mile hill climb since 2006 and he did so aboard a Repsol Honda MotoGP machine.
Approaching his 30th birthday in October, the two-time world champion was at the event alongside many high profile drivers.
Six-time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi also attended the world’s largest automotive garden party as well as another two-time champion Freddie Spencer and 2009 F1 world champion Jenson Button.
More than 600 famous cars and motorcycles were on show at the event’s 23rd anniversary in front of an estimated 150,000 fans near Goodwood House in West Sussex.
For Stoner this was a lead up to this month’s prestigious endurance Suzuka 8-Hour in Japan on July 26.
Stoner will share MuSASHi RT HARC-PRO team duties with World Superbike rider Michael van der Mark and Takumi Takahashi, who together have won the past two races.
Stoner, who was test driving for Honda in Sepang earlier this year, retired from MotoGP at the age of 27 in 2012.
