The Maitland-raised man has volunteered his hairy legs to be waxed for charity.
The money raised will go to Relay for Life, an annual Cancer Council event to recognise and celebrate those who have overcome cancer or are undergoing treatment, as well as the people who care for them.
Mr Andrews raises money for Relay for Life every year after he lost his mother, sister and aunt to cancer.
“My nephew waxed his legs last year and my niece shaved her head,” he said.
“This year is my turn and I am very worried, especially because everyone says it is going to hurt.”
The leg wax will happen at a family fun night on Saturday, August 22 at Lorn Park Bowling Club.
Staff from AJ’s Body Piercing and Beauty have been entrusted with the hairy job and have already started collecting money for the wax.
Donations can be made at the Rutherford store.
Other than the main event, there will be raffles, giant Jenga, a chocolate wheel and lucky door prizes.
The theme for the night is “dress to impress” and everyone is invited to attend.
The leg wax has already raised more than $400, but Mr Andrews hopes to exceed the $1000 mark.
The family night starts at 5pm.

The Maitland Relay For Life will be held at Maitland Sportsground on September 5 from 10am until 10pm.
