East Maitland Florists will be among 18 demonstrators ensuring visitors to the festival will have plenty to see when they look up from their plates.
Award winning florist Stevie Mitchell will compete at the national floral arranging champion ship in Melbourne, the Interflora, early next week.
But before then will be in The Levee from 1.30pm on Saturday offering tips on everything from design to care of arrangements.
“It’ll be my first time at Taste and I’m very excited,” Ms Mitchell said.
Ms Mitchell said the floral demonstation would be right at home in the festival because the Hunter Valley produced plants both uncommon and in vogue.
“I like making arrangements with local sources,” she said.
“A lot of our plants are unavaliable anywhere else, the Hunter is awesome for that.”
