The hosts proved too strong for East Cessnock with Maitland City claiming all three rinks.
The overall score ended up 65-45 in favour of Maitland City.
This gave Maitland City 10 points on the competition ladder but East Cessnock walked away with none.
Undefeated Maitland City (18.5) are now top of the first Hunter section with East Cessnock (9) third.
Reigning Hunter champions Kurri Kurri continued their dominance of section four with a 73-54 victory away against Nelson Bay.
It was the second time in as many weeks Kurri Kurri (20) have clinched maximum competitions points and they are now 10 clear of their nearest rival.
In section two East Maitland comfortably accounted for Warners Bay 78-42 and collected nine competition points along the way.
Beresfield beat Valentine 64-52 in section three with eight points the prize.
