The group are members of Julie Hvirf and Friends, artists who meet at Horseshoe Bend every week.
Ms Hvirf, herself an accomplished artist, believes it is the biggest art exhibition ever held in Wollombi.
"The enthusiasm from people in the village and our own group is such that we may now put this exhibition on every year," Ms Hvirf said.
"For me, the big thing was to see how keen everyone was to take part.
"This exhibition has done a great deal to encourage our members and it is exciting to find it is also popular among Wollombi residents.”
Verona Lucas from East Maitland said they had a very good response from visitors and they sold some paintings, which boosted everyone’s morale.
