Paterson’s legendary oranges
Growing up dad used to bring home a box of Paterson oranges every month and if the oranges weren't all eaten they would last ages. The skin would dry out and go hard. I found that was the best time to eat them. So juicy and sweet. I really miss them. Lovely oranges – lots of seeds though.

Paterson oranges and mandarines were the best. I can remember driving to Paterson with the family, having a picnic and buying Emperor mandarines from the old shed. Beautiful memories.

I sound like a greeny but I hope the bush separates Wilton Drive and the aged care units. And how about these developers make sure all trades put on local apprentices?

How many jobs will be for local people as opposed to subcontractors from out of the area?

Thieves spotted in Wallis Creek Estate
Hi all. It was me who put up the Facebook post about the thieves. I'm very grateful that The Maitland Mercury noticed my post and reported on it.
We started our build on November 14 and since then it's been horrible. During that time we lived in a new-built area in Cameron Park and when that house was getting built my father-in-law and I delivered three 17-year-olds to the police after they finished smashing bathroom windows and climbing on the roof and smashing tiles with rocks.
Didn't know at that time my 50-year-old father-in-law could out sprint me!
I'm not liking when I say this but when houses are at the stage my sister’s house is at I can catch a person per day, if not more. I’m on a mission at the moment and I will hand over tapes or photos to the police when I catch them.

Luckily we had no problems at all during our build at Wallis Creek. Nothing stolen, nothing trashed. I hope articles like this don't put people off the area! This happens everywhere.

Yeah, I had $1200 worth of paint stolen from Heritage Parc in Rutherford last year.
