The event will be held on Sunday, March 20 and will begin at 8.30am with breakfast and on-the-day registrations at The Entrance Leagues Club, Bateau Bay.
At 10.30am riders set off for Hope Estate at Pokolbin. They are expected to arrive at noon for lunch.
Lake Macquarie couple Darren and Julie Jewell, have been the ride co-ordinators for four years.
Mr Jewell said the Central Coast/Hunter ride was usually one of the biggest of the 35 rides that will take place across Australia.
“We’d love to see as many bike riders as possible but other members of the community are most welcome at the start or finish areas or along the route,” Mr Jewell said.
Lifeline Hunter Central Coast acting CEO Gillian Summers said Darren, Julie and all the riders and supporters were beacons of light and hope for people battling depression or contemplating suicide.
“Funds raised are urgently needed and will be spent locally on Lifeline’s local crisis support phone service, face to face counselling and other suicide prevention training and other services,” Ms Summers said.
