Sun Street Studios will host the opening run of events from Friday morning.
From 11am until 2pm there will be a graffiti workshop by UP&UP. From 4pm until 10pm Youth Express will host Aboriginal art classes and story telling.
At the same time the Sun Street Festival will keep a constant parade of up-and-coming local acts playing through the night.
Sun Street talent scout Jacqui Ferris said she worked hard to secure a diverse line-up, from hardcore to indie, that showcased and gave opportunities to local young people.
“It gives young people a chance to get their voice out there,” she said.
