If you were, then Americans will see you in action at the Beverly Hills Film Festival later this month.
News from the US is that the Australian Film Television and Radio School student film has been selected for the prestigious American film festival.
If you were an extra in the film your name mightn’t be up in lights but you’ll be up on the silver screen in Beverly Hills.
Stuffed was filmed in and around Dungog in August, 2013 and has received accolades around the world.
It has received many accolades since its release.
It was also nominated for the Best Australian Short Film at last year’s Flickerfest International Film Festival.
Director Warwick Young spent quite a few weeks in Dungog filming.
He finally brought the movie to the town in March, last year, as part of Flickerfest on Tour.
“The film has done really well both domestically and internationally and it could not have happened without each and every one of you and the township of Dungog,” he said.
Considered one of the most exclusive cities in the world Beverly Hills hosts a five-day festival each year garnering 20,000 plus attendees with a focus on bringing premier independent cinema to town, to renowned venues.
Nightly themed parties, seminars, a charity benefit and black tie awards ceremony are also on the program.
