Funny Money starts with the mild-mannered Henry Perkins, played by Ian Robinson, staggering into his home after a long day at work.

His wife, played by Dimity Eveleens, scolds him for being late.
But her tune changes when he tells her he’s accidentally brought home someone else’s brief case – and it’s got millions of dollars inside.
While they argue there’s a knock at the door, a policeman.
From there, director Steve Ryan said, the plot just gets weirder.
“I absolutely love torturing people on stage,” he said.
“It’s a classic English farce.”
Funny Money premieres at the Maitland Repertory Theatre on Wednesday April 27 at 7.30pm.
