Maitland take on Valentine Phoenix at Cooks Square Park on Sunday, while Weston are up against Edgeworth Eagles at Rockwell Automation Park.
A win for Maitland could put them in equal third place on the ladder, with seven rounds remaining.
But Charlestown is nipping at their heels and if they win and Maitland lose the Magpies could bump down to fifth place.
Maitland are coming off a 3-0 rescheduled round loss to third-placed Broadmeadow Magic last week.
But the Magpies have the home-ground advantage against Valentine, who are currently sitting in eighth place.
Weston are seeking their first win of the season, but will have a hard slog against a strong Edgeworth outfit.
Edgeworth have only lost one of their nine games, and have also recorded a draw.
Following the match on Sunday, the Bears will back up for a postponed match on Wednesday, June 29.
They will take on Lambton Jaffas at home at 7pm.
In the junior competition, Weston and Maitland will face off at Rockwell Automation Park on Saturday.
Four games will be played, starting with the under-13’s through to the under-17’s.
