Sanctuary will join Pickers fitness and performance coach Matt Ireland in preparing the team for the 2017 season and will assist with sessions during the season.
Pickers coach Trevor Ott said Sanctuary had accepted a position at Western Suburbs, but had reached an agreement with the Rosellas to assist the Pickers.
Ott said Ireland was excited about working with Sanctuary, who had international experience as a high performance coach at Durham Cricket Club and Wakefield Rugby League Club in the Super League.
”Col did terrific things with the Knights junior program and to have someone of his calibre to work with Matt is fantastic,” he said.
The Pickers had their first pre-season session last Friday and will be holding Friday sessions for their first grade, reserves, all-age and under-19s at Maitland Park through to December 16.
