The draw was announced at a launch night on Wednesday, where a ballot also took place to decide the match-up of the two extra rounds of competition in round eight and 14.
As the wooden-spoon holders, the Pickers selected first and drew 2016 runners-up Macquarie at home in round 14.
In the other extra round (eight), Maitland will be away to Wests.
Kurri Kurri’s extra games will be against Central and Lakes United.
Cessnock have drawn to play Wests three times for a second straight season. The Goannas will also come up against South Newcastle on three occasions.
All eight district clubs face each other home and away over 14 rounds, except for the two additional weeks.
The season kicks off on April 22-23, with Maitland away to premiers South Newcastle.
