Port Stephens went two from two in the Maitland District Cricket T20 competition, with wins in A-grade and B-grade on Saturday.

The B-grade side were far too strong for Hinton in their final at Beryl Humble, with a convincing 49 run victory.
Port Stephens won the toss and elected to bat first.
After losing the first wicket at 15 runs in, Port regrouped thanks to opener Darren Morrison’s 39, which included four boundaries and two maximums.

Warren Herbert (36no) also put in a good knock to take the Pythons to 7/157 from their 20 overs.
Danny Maxwell did the damage with the ball for Hinton, taking 3-21 off four overs.
In reply, Hinton were bowled out for 108 in the 18th over.
Opener Dean Mills and Chad Irvine both made starts to score 24 each.
Stuart Ellis cleaned up with the ball for Port, taking 3-24 off four, while Herbert backed up his batting performance with 2-29 off four.
Darren Morrison also picked up a pair of wickets.
Paterson claimed C-grade trophy in a hard-fought win against Fred Harvey Memorial at Norm Chapman Oval.
Paterson won the toss and sent Fred Harvey into bat first.
Fred Harvey started well, reaching 51 before losing their second wicket.
This was helped by a strong 64 by number three batsman Brody Asquith.
But Paterson dug deep and kept Fred Harvey to 5/139 from their 20 overs.
Steve Priestly was the best with the ball, taking 2-29 off four overs.
Mitch White and Jake Watson also took a wicket each.
In reply, Paterson chased down the target with four wickets and two extra balls to spare.
Watson backed up with the bat to score 36no, while Grant Jackson and Shaun Presland made good starts with 34 each.
For Fred Harvey, the wickets were shared across the board with one each to Asquith, Mark Davies, Ben Rose, Luke Young and Bryce Hadfield.
Alan Faulkner, who usually captains Paterson, said the team were quietly confident ahead of the match but had to work hard to win.
In D-grade, Bowthorne had a commanding victory over Lakeside Village at Norm Chapman 1.
Bowthorne amassed a huge total of 8/206 from 20 overs batting first.
Todd Smith put on a fantastic performance at number nine with 38no.
In reply, Lakeside could only muster 119 with Christopher McCabe making 34, while Bradley Brien contributed with 26.
Brad Duncan was Bowthorne’s best with the ball with 3-14 off four, while Shaun Byrne also bowled well to take 2-8 off two.
