Mr Osmond, 34, was reported missing by his family on Saturday morning, and police have concerns for the man’s welfare due to his mental state.
A police statement said it was understood the man checked out of a Victorian hotel on Saturday morning.
“It’s believed he checked out of a motel in Lakes Entrance, Victoria, in the early hours this morning and is driving a maroon Nissan Navara with NSW registration BH95DP,” the statement said.
“He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 175cm tall with a solid build and blonde hair and blue eyes.”
Anyone with information that may assist in locating Mr Osmond should contact police at Maitland police station or Crime Stoppers.
