Parkes and Stauffer will be joined by MotoGP’s Jack Miller, Josh Hook, Damian Cudlin, Alex Cudlin, Josh Waters, Anthony West, Josh Brookes and Mark Aitchison.
The talented line-up has been likened to the golden era of Australian 500cc GP riders in the 1980s and ’90s which included Mick Doohan, Wayne Gardner, Darryl Beattie and Kevin McGee.
The Suzuka 8 Hours is Japan’s most famous motorcycle race and there’s always plenty of pride at stake, especially between the Japanese manufacturers.
Parkes is racing with the YART Yamaha Official EWC Team and Former Australian Superbike Champion Stauffer will make his return to racing with the Honda Dream RT Sakurai Team.
The Suzuka 8 Hours is one of the most gruelling endurance races in the world, with hot temperatures and a demanding track.
