The All Saints team initially missed selection after losing in the semi-finals of the Knights Knockout earlier this year.

We got a bit of an opportunity there (at the state knockout) and the boys grabbed it.

However, St Peter’s strong performances at the Knights Knockout saw them offered an opportunity in the state knockout two weeks ago.
“We got a bit of an opportunity there and the boys grabbed it,” co-coach Shane Whereat said.
The St Peter’s side promptly swept their pool before going on to beat the Central Coast’s Kincumber High School in the final, 18-4.
“The boys are all pretty committed to footy,” Whereat, who was assisted by fellow coach Wade Marquart, said of the young team.
“They were stoked.”
Whereat said that they were missing several players to representative commitments during the Knights Knockout and appreciated their selection as a wildcard entry in the state version.
“It was good to get a chance at the state knockout and we wanted to justify it (our selection as a wildcard).”
