A bucking good time is assured for regular fans or anyone who likes plenty of muscle power, thrills and spills in their sport.
Event organiser Jenny Tilse said this year’s rodeo will be held at 6pm straight after the official opening and promises to pack plenty of excitement.
“One of the great things about the rodeo is that it draws some of the top riders in the sport and is a pathway for juniors and novices,” she said.
The professionals will be showcasing their skills and courage in the bull ride, open saddle bronc and bareback riding (horses).
At the other end of the experience scale, the under-8 junior poddy ride returns for youngsters who can enter on the day.
Other categories including the over-40 bull ride, barrel races with ladies, novice and junior categories for under-11, 11-14 and 14-18 and juvenile steer rides in 8-11, 11-14 and 14-18 categories.
It’s great fun for competitors and fans alike.
