Over three days Novocastrians will experience the wonders of everything from rides and games to displays and fireworks.
Spectators will be sent home with a smile and no doubt a showbag full of goodies.
Here’s what you need to know about the Newcastle Show:
When is the Newcastle Show?
- Friday March 2 - 9 am to 10pm
- Saturday March 3 - 9 am to 10pm
- Sunday March 4 – 9am to 4pm
Gates close at 9pm on Friday and Saturday and at 3.30pm on Sunday. No admission after these times.

How much are tickets?
There are a range of tickets to pick from.
- Adult (15 and over) – $15
- Concession – $12
- Child (5-15) – $10
- Under 5 years – free
- Family (4 people, any combination) – $34
- Family (5 people or more, any combination) – $39

What is the weather forecast?
It has become common sentiment that it always rains on show weekend and this year seems to be no exception.
