The year four student at Bolwarra Public School will do just that when he goes under the clippers on March 16 for the World’s Greatest Shave, raising money for the Leukemia Foundation.
Max’s head shaving will coincide with national school’s anti-bullying day, making it a busy day for Bolwarra Public.
Max’s mother Lana said he had wanted to participate in the fundraiser since seeing it last year.
“He loves to help, he’d do anything for anyone,” she proudly said. There’s no nerves about the locks going either, she added.
“He’s excited about it. He’s looking forward to helping raise money for a good cause.”
