In 1978 a group of world-leading breast cancer doctors and researchers based in Australia and New Zealand came together to form Breast Cancer Trials.
The group’s aim was to explore and find better treatments for people affected by breast cancer through clinical trials research.
Financial independence makes this a unique organisation in the medical field.
The organisation was also the first clinical trials research organisation to establish a Consumer Advisory Panel comprising of women who have a personal experience of breast cancer. Keeping in touch with real community needs is key to the success of this business.
