Woman charged after drugs, taser and ice pipes allegedly seized from Maitland home

A 48-year-old woman has been charged with a string of offences after police allegedly seized three different types of drugs, a taser and more than 20 ice pipes from her Maitland home.

Police raided the woman’s home on Monday afternoon as a result of police inquiries.

During the search, police claim to have found prescription drugs, cannabis, a substance believed to be LSD, a taser and items believed to have been stolen including credit cards and phones.

Officers also allegedly seized more than 20 ice pipes and equipment for making pipes from the residence.

The woman was take to Maitland Police Station and charged with possession and supply of a prohibited drug, dealing in the proceeds of crime, selling ice pipes, goods in custody and possession of a prohibited weapon.
