CMC (third, 23 points) can take a share of second place if they beat reigning premiers The George Tavern (second, 26) on Court 34 at 1pm.
MPBC (sixth, 18) face the toughest test in Maitland netball when they play the undefeated Hills Solicitors (32) in the late game.
The Branxton team are just four points outside the top four and an upset win could set them up for a semi-finals spot with six games remaining in the season.
Royal Federal Hotel (fifth, 18) have a must-win game against Maitland Blacks Tolsaf Cranes (seventh, 11) on Court 33 at 1pm.
Maitland Carpet Court (fourth, 22) will be after a quick start to assert themselves against bottom side Hinton Hotel who are chasing their first win.
The Maitland Netball Association competition resumes after a two-week break for the school holidays. The association also hosts a carnival on Sunday.
