Hills emphatic win and a hard-fought 28-23 win by The George against Maitland Carpet Court has pretty much confirmed the top-three spots with The George to finish second and Club Maitland City third.
However, fourth spot will come down to next week’s final round encounter between Royal Federal Hotel and Maitland Carpet Court.
Royal Federal are in fourth now after their 42-24 win against Hinton Hotel, three points clear of MCC but with an inferior for and against goals record.
They can book their spot with a win or a draw.
At the other end of the table Tolsaf Cranes defeated MPBC 33-29 to jump off the bottom of the ladder on goal difference ahead of Hinton Hotel.
Equal on points, Tolsaf play Club Maitland City next week, while Hinton face the minor premiers.
