Dave comes from humble beginnings and has made a name for himself in the Hunter especially, as one of the region’s most gifted musicians. He will be performing tunes from his self titled debut album, which is some of his most captivating material yet.
After a huge and hectic year, I’m really looking forward to coming home, celebrating and playing my last show of the tour, right here in the heart of Maitland,” Wells said.
“It will be a surreal experience, but I couldn’t think of a better way to see the year out, by singing some tunes across the great Hunter River, to an audience consisting of the most gracious and loyal supporters I have.”

Council’s Place Activation Officer Charlotte Hilder is thrilled at the prospect.
“We’ve had a few Live at the Levee events already and with an incredibly talented Maitland local performing in Dave Wells, I’ve no doubt it’s going to be one of our best yet,” she said. “I really encourage you to come along.”
Dave Wells will be joined by Newcastle artist Georgie Jones, who has just finished her own successful tour of Melbourne.
The live music kicks off at 5.30pm at the Bourke Street Link.
