The new facility features various elements for all skill levels and disciplines, including a 1.5 metre to 2.1 metre deep hipped skate bowl with a roll in that has already been a big success with skate enthusiasts.
One of the key attractions for the event was the age division comp for skate, scooter, BMX and roller participants, which was judged and managed by Grundy's Skate Store, and sanctioned by the Australian Skateboarding Federation.
Skaters and riders were competing for $5000 in prizes and giveaways from Skate Connections at Green Hills.
Aside from the entertainment on the skate ramp, there was a DJ and music, pro rider demos and a free barbecue.
