Maitland were dominant across the field, but were warned after the game by coach Matt Lantry that the job was only partly done and that they needed to take their game to another level if they are to claim the major title.
The Pickers finish the regular season with a road-trip next Sunday against Glebe Burwood Wolves, who can jump to second with victory against the Western Rams today.
Maitland will host the team which finishes fourth on the ladder on Saturday, September 19, while the second and third teams will contest the other elimination semi-final at Leichhardt Oval on the same day.
The winners of the two games progress to the grand final at Bankwest Stadium on Sunday, September 27.
Maitland's spine was particularly damaging on the back of a strong platform from the starting pack and the bench forwards.
Five-eighth Chad O'Donnell created all sorts of headaches for the Bears with his running game and was rewarded with two tries, with another disallowed.
Back-rower Jacob McCudden scored a double and handed O'Donnell one with a superb offload horizontal to the ground to put the five-eighth in space before he dashed 80 metres to score under the posts.
Brock Lamb continued his outstanding form and his kicking game was superb with three try-assists from close range and a massive 40:20 setting up another from the subsequent set.
Alex Langbridge stamped himself again as the best hooker in the competition with his pin-point, long-range passes from dummy-half creating repeated overlap situations.
Facing an unsettled ,middle-third Langbridge was able to the bring the forwards into play with punishing runs close to the ruck or darting plays himself.
Younger brother Daniel was safe at the back under a barrage of kicks and made several breaks with well-timed supporting runs.
And on top of it all, the Pickers forwards led by James Taylor and birthday boy Jayden Butterfield steamrolled their opponents, with Sam Anderson performing strongly in his return from head injury.
Taylor, Faitotoa Faitotoa and Alex Langbridge joined McCudden with tries for the forwards to account for five of the Pickers' eight tries.
In the only downsides Butterfield was placed on report for an alleged crusher tackle and Marvin Fillipo was placed on report for high contact.
Cooper Jenkins was sin-binned for 10 minutes but should be clear to play next week. Will Nieuwenhuise came off late with jarring to the same knee he had an ACL reconstruction on. He was confident that there was no lasting damage and he should be fit to play.
