POLICE are seeking public help as they investigate a home invasion and attack on an 81-year-old Medowie man.

Officers were told the man was inside a Kindlebark Street property about 6.30pm on Tuesday when two men and a woman forced their way through his front door.
"The man was then assaulted by the group, whilst several items inside the home were damaged and smashed," police said in a statement.
The group left shortly after.
The 81-year-old contacted police.
Port Stephens-Hunter Police District officers established a crime scene and are investigating.
They urge anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage of the area to contact Raymond Terrace police or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
