And the task doesn't get any easier with the trip down to Wyong rejuvenated after a 38-24 win against South Newcastle at Towson Oval on Friday.
"They had a really good win against South Newcastle to bounce back after a loss to Lakes the weekend before," Pickers coach Matt Lantry said.
"We need to be on our game again. It's back to back away games for us so we need to make sure that we turn up ready to go. We'll look at a bit of vision of how they performed against Souths but it will be another tough one for sure."
Lantry said it was pleasing to get their fourth win on the board as they built a platform for the season.
"We don't want to be that team that gets to June and starts to build. We want to make sure that we start the season well and don't put any undue pressure on ourselves to chase wins mid-part of the year," he said.
"The next period of four games you'd like to see combinations evolve and things start to really click within the group over the next month of footy to take us through to round eight.
"We've got a lot of improvement in us, but we are heading down the right track."
