But the talented trio took things a step further this year and were honoured in the representative ranks.
First it was the NSW squad for a State of Origin clash with Queensland rivals, and eventually they found themselves donning the green and gold together.
Bec, the Pickers skipper, and her sisters-in-law Julie and Emma then departed for England for the women’s rugby league World Cup.
All three then helped the Australian side achieve glory at the tournament for the first time when they overcame the recent domination of trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand.
