An assistant principal as well as five other senior staff started this week at the secondary school, which is set to open in January 2018.
New assistant principal Brett Donohoe has come from St Catherine's Catholic College in Singleton and joins principal John Murphy at the helm.
Amy Butler has been appointed as the school’s learning coordinator, Jasmine Hutchinson the student coordinator, and Andrew Cornwall, Tamara Borkowski and Fiona Duque will be studies coordinators.
Three more teachers are set to be hired this week, with more set to be added as enrolments increase.
About 100 students have already been enrolled into the future school, which will begin with year 7 and include more grades as the years commence.
The first group of students will graduate in 2023.
Mr Murphy said the school had hired fantastic teachers, who would be a great asset to the school community.
“They’re really committed to making it a top quality school,” he said.
Building of the school has also powered ahead, with the first stage of construction set for completion before term 2 next year.
In the first term, students will be taught in a “flexible learning village” – made up of several furbished demountable buildings that will be used intermittently between different stages of construction.
