Lyn Dark, Wilma Lilley and Elizabeth Lilley have been growing out their hair, ready to donate to sick kids through Variety's Hair with Heart initiative where it will be made into a wig.
The hair will be cut at a special Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea event on Saturday, May 28, and all funds raised will go to both Variety - the Children's Charity and Cancer Council.
Lyn Dark said the idea to donate her hair sparked when she was accompanying her husband, Graham to chemotherapy.

"While Graham was in having chemotherapy, some of the women commented 'what a pretty colour' my hair was, it was a nice colour grey," Mrs Dark said.
"You know, they'd already lost their hair with the chemo, and I suppose that planted the seed for me to donate it towards a wig."
Mr Dark has been battling cancer for 33 years, and the couple host annual Biggest Morning Teas for the Cancer Council.
This year's Biggest Morning Tea, held at Telarah Bowling Club, will have the added excitement of the hair cutting.
Mrs Dark said she will be getting her husband to cut the first lock of hair.
Mr Dark said he is planning on doing it with the gardening sheers but Mrs Dark isn't so keen on that idea.
"Another friend of ours who's going through cancer treatment at the moment, I've asked her to cut the second lock off, and then people can donate money to cut some more off if they want.," Mrs Dark said.
The Biggest Morning Tea and hair donation will be at Telarah Bowling Club at 10am on Saturday, May 28.
Morning tea will be served at 10.30am, and there will be stalls, competitions, raffles and guest speakers from Variety and Cancer Council.
Tickets are on sale for $15 and bookings are essential as it is a catered event.

Mrs Dark said the West Maitland Centennial Lions Club are very grateful to have already received some donations from local businesses and the public.
