A sold-out crowd on Saturday and an almost full-capacity venue on Sunday enjoyed crisp and colourful craft beers and rocking live entertainment.
Morpeth Brewery and Beer Co, which operates out of The Commercial Hotel, was one of the producers pouring beverages on the weekend.
Pub manager Matt Dickman said it had been fantastic to see a lot of new faces at the 2016 event.
“Everyone’s in very high spirits, it’s such a good day,” he said.
The event offered small brewers such as Hunter United, another exhibitor at the festival, a chance at exposure.
Steve Young, of Hunter United Brewers, has been making home brew for 25 years. He said the festival was an opportunity to showcase how good home brew could be.
“It’s amazing, this is one of the busiest stalls, and it’s just great to see people getting into good beer,” he said.
