Police have appealed for public help after a man was assaulted at Maitland train station on Saturday.

A police report said the man, 45, was waiting at the station at about 1.10am when he was punched in the face and kicked by another man.
Officers from Port Stephens-Hunter attended and located the injured man, who was treated by paramedics at the scene.
He was taken to Maitland Hospital for treatment.
Detectives have now released CCTV images of a man they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.
The man depicted is described as being of Caucasian appearance, in his late 20s or early 30s, with fair skin, short light brown/ginger hair and facial hair.
He is depicted in the image wearing a patterned light-coloured short-sleeve shirt, tan shorts and dark-coloured shoes.
