Police are searching for a man who allegedly used a fake address to steal a pharmaceautical script from a Central Maitland pharmacy.

The man filled the script at Priceline Pharmacy in Pender Place using a Denton Park Drive, Aberglasslyn address about 11.30am on Thursday.
After he received the script, police said the man put the medication into his pocket and dumped the basket before leaving the store without paying.
Police said they went to the provided address the next day, but discovered it was a fake.
Inquiries are ongoing and police are reviewing CCTV footage.
