Police were called about 7am Tuesday to reports that a car was in the water off Bungaree Street.
Police said they inspected the vehicle, a blue sedan, but luckily no one was inside at the time.
The car was pulled out of the swamp about 9.30am.
Officers are still following up the incident to find out how the car ended up in the water.
