On the weekend of September 21 and 22, you can visit eight of the region's most outstanding local gardens across Bolwarra, East Maitland, Largs, Windella and Anambah.
This will be the 36th consecutive year of Maitland Garden Ramble which has become one of the big horticultural events on the Maitland calendar.
Every year, hosts strive to improve their gardens in an to attempt to make it a pleasant experience for both old and new participants.
The owners of East Maitland's remarkable Cornish Garden are no exception.
They aim to construct a new area of their garden every year such as adding a water feature, planting cherry trees and sprinkling a bit of potted colour here and there.
The gardens featured in this year's ramble include Cornish Garden, East Maitland; Vakil Garden, East Maitland; McLeod Garden 'Pen Parc',Windella; Anambah House, Anambah; Cameron Garden 'Bolwarra House', OLD Bolwarra; Turner Garden 'The Barn', OLD Bolwarra; Andrews Garden 'Karawarravic', Largs; and Russ Garden 'Banyandah', Largs.
A café and barbecue will be available at Garden 4 and 5 throughout the day for anyone feeling a little peckish.
This Ramble is open from 10am to 4pm Saturday 21st September and Sunday 22nd September.
Tickets cost $35 for adults, $25 for concession (aged only) and children are free.
These tickets are for full access over the weekend, but if you aren't as keen you can buy access to individual garden tickets for $5 each.
Tickets can be bought online or in person in multiple locations including Maitland Visitor Information Centre, Heritage Gardens Nursery, Bolwarra Café.
There is a shuttle bus service available for pre purchase tickets only to for everyone at the price of $45 for adults and $35 for concession.
