Lukah Eveleigh, of Bolwarra Heights, joined Meghan Burton, Maeve Smith, Kasey Brown, Rylie Orrock, Billie-Ann Austin, Zoe Shaw and Monique Sullivan in preparing the performance titled 4.18 which won Outstanding Ensemble Performance.
The Hunter School of the Performing Arts students created the entire project through the school's dance production class.
It was a real treat for them to perform in front of some of the industry's best.
"There was a panel of four industry professionals that did the judging and it was very good for them to have that industry credibility," school dance teacher Jo Thorn said.
"All of the girls took a role in the choreography and need to be commended with their involvement in the project.
"The dance production class gives them the opportunity to do project based learning and design projects they want to create. This was part of their school work and they saw it through from inception until the end."
There were 17 works selected to compete in the final, which were chosen from 46 works presented during the heats.
