Visit Berkley Street, Morpeth this Friday from 11.00am to 12.45pm as Bodie plays an acoustic set for the launch of Morph It. 'Morph It' will see a series of public spaces in Morpeth unlocked through quick, engaging and high impact temporary interventions that build upon the unique character of the historic town, challenging the traditional hierarchy of our streets. The project will run from Friday, October 23 to November 29. Visit mymaitland.com.au/morph-it/ for more details.
Cars of The World
Aficionados of all things four wheels are encouraged to head to The Levee this Saturday for the Cars Of The World exhibit. The show, brought to you by the Maitland Classic Car Association, will exhibit classic cars from Australia, the European Union, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States. Visit theleveemaitland.com.au/cars-of-the-world/ for more information.
Phoenix Park Farm
Just across the Morpeth Bridge in Phoenix Park, Jesse and the team at Phoenix Park Farm will be operating The Coffee Coop and Farm Gate Stall this Saturday morning. Grab a barista made espresso whilst you browse the range of seasonal organically grown produce sourced directly from the grounds of the farm.
With Stage A of the Queens Wharf Redevelopment complete, the weekend presents a great opportunity to see the latest improvements. If you're lucky enough to have a boat, the widened boat ramp provides the perfect spot to launch and cruise down the Hunter River.
Art lovers looking for something a little different are encouraged to make their way into Central Maitland of an evening. Two new installations, 'Spatial Residence' in Church Street, and 'Live Laugh Light' at The Levee are the latest colourful additions to the nightscape.
