Currently archaeological investigations are being conducted at the High Street site.
The tours will provide the community with an opportunity to learn intriguing details and information about the locally significant artefacts found by the team of archaeologists who have been working on the site since Monday, November 30.
The open day will involve a series of 30 minute tours with the first of three sessions beginning at 2pm.
Each session will allow a maximum of 10 people with bookings essential.
Participants must wear enclosed shoes and a sun hat.
Please be aware that tours may need to be postponed at late notice in the event of unfavourable weather.
