You are allowed to go fishing with one other person (excluding household members) and you can only fish in your LGA (Local Government Area) or if outside your LGA within five kilometres from your home.
Fishing offshore is allowed within five kilometres from your house.
LGA's only cover land and do not extend offshore.
You must follow the rules in regards to ramp access and be within your LGA.
Fishing stores are generally not an essential service and as such their doors must be closed but most are allowing click or phone and collect.
