People living in Rosebrook, Hillsborough and Lambs Valley can access transport on the flood boat on Saturday.
"The flood boats are leaving from the Maitland Vale Rural Fire Service to transport local residents to the western side, on the corner of Maitland Vale Road and Luskintyre Road," the SES unit said in a statement.
The unit is also assessing the flood situation in Phoenix Park as residents there are also isolated by flood water.
Meanwhile, the community of Hinton is continuing its island life.
The Hunter River at the Belmore Bridge has peaked and is now starting to recede but there is still a lot of flood water around the town of Hinton.
Port Stephens SES Unit is operating a flood boat between the Hinton Bridge and Morpeth to transport essential workers as well as food, medicine and other goods.
