But that's what's on at Crowne Plaza on Saturday (11am-5pm) at the annual Hunter Valley Wine Festival.
Alongside the fine wines, there will be craft beer, local foods and entertainment.
There is a range of new attractions this year including interactive 'Expressions' sessions featuring organic wine and cheese matching, as well as a beer and cider session.

A feature this year will be the diversity of wine styles. While the Hunteris best regarded for its semillon, chardonnay and shiraz, this year will see a far wider spectrum including verdelho, tempranillo and sangiovese.
Once again, the festival will support the local Rural Fire Service.
