The Hunter Valley is gearing up for a country music spectacular at the fifth annual Country at the Camp music festival this coming Saturday.
From 11am to 11pm, established and local artists will be entertaining the anticipated 1000 people at Drovers Camp on Elderslie Road, Branxton.
The lineup includes headliner Adam Brand, along with the Viper Creek Band, Outlaw Avenue, Matt Cornell, Ashleigh Dallas, Matt Scullion, Tyran Hamilton, Mackenzie Pringle, Trinity Woodhouse and Sami.
With a forecast of 23 degrees for the day, this family-friendly event will be a great opportunity for those who love to dress up, relax with friends and listen to the best of Australian country music.
Organisers Luke Thrift and Cass Shoulders - who created Country at the Camp in 2015 - say the festival aims to keep country music in New South Wales, allowing good times and good music for all to enjoy.
"Big numbers, good times, cold beer and good music," Luke said when picturing the upcoming event.
"The artists love to get amongst the crowd.
"Laying on the grass with a cold beer in the sun sort of vibe."
If you're looking for a festival where you can mingle with your favourite artists, this laid-back country atmosphere is where you'll need to be.
Held in an onsite bush amphitheatre, allowing camping options and including a fully-licensed bar, Drovers Camp was the choice venue.
"With a big old timber stage, it's unique. There's not much like this around," Luke said.
Winner of 12 Golden Guitar Awards, among other accolades, Adam Brand is bound to bring the crowds.
The singer, with over 100,000 Facebook followers, is preparing for his 2020 Australian tour.
"He's been great to work with and we're so excited to have him here in Branxton," Luke said.
"Apart from that, we've got The Viper Creek boys back this year. They're always a crowd favourite.
"Local boys Outlaw Avenue and new local up-and-comer Sami. There are a few more in between that we're excited to have too."
There are limited tickets and camping spots available, so don't wait to buy at the gate.
