He called his long-term partner Kaila Adams over and got down on one knee in front of a love seat, a massive display of balloons and a glowing white heart.
"He said I have a question to ask you," she said.
"It's so exciting. We've been together for eight years since we were 20. It's been a long time coming, we just haven't had the money to do it or plan it.
"I'm so happy with the ring, I love it. We want to be together forever and it's so nice for us to finally get engaged and 'seal the deal'."
The newly engaged couple have two children - Calais, 6, and Layley, 3.
They will get married in 2021 and use the rest of this year to save for their wedding day.
