Watson joined the Knights in 2018 but has signed a two-year contract with the Sydney Roosters after three NRL seasons in Newcastle colours.
Watson's three-bedroom home at 257 Beaumont Street in Hamilton South is being marketed by Robinson Property's Lyndall Allan. It is set for auction on October 9 and has reportedly attracted strong early interest with over 50 enquiries during the first three days on the market.

Widespread interest
A circa 1893 Victorian terrace at 11 Chinchen Street in Islington is attracting "all sorts of buyers", according to Joel Soldado, of Harcourts. He is marketing the four-bedroom home with a guide of $1.3 million.
It is set for auction on October 6.
Lifestyle appeal
There was local and Sydney interest in a unique Charlestown property before its quick $1.66 million sale.
Luke Searles, of Laing + Simmons, marketed the retreat-like four-bedroom home built on a 3140 square metre bush block at 7 Green Valley Road. It featured a natural, freshwater spring running through the property.
Mr Searles reported "a huge amount of enquiry" before it was secured within one week of being launched to market. The property also featured a freestanding double garage with a granny flat.
Turning pink
Shiels + Co Property will be raising funds and awareness for the National Breast Cancer Foundation during October. The brand is normally a vibrant blue but will instead turn pink for the entire month.
Shiels + Co Property will donate $1000 to the NBCF for every sale made in October.
Listings over $1 million
First National Newcastle City are guiding $1.1 million to $1.2 million for a three-bedroom house on a 556 square metre block at 266 Beaumont Street in Hamilton South.
A four-bedroom home on absolute waterfront at 147 Coal Point Road in Coal Point is on the market through Ray White Toronto with a guide of $2.595 million.
Belle Property Lake Macquarie have an oceanfront vacant block of land at 13 Pacific Drive, Swansea Heads with a guide of $2.2 million to $2.4 million. It is 537.5 square metres in size.
A three-bedroom, tri-level Torrens Title residence at 54 Bruce Street in Cooks Hill is being sold by Dalton Partners for $1.295 million.
Belle Property Newcastle have set a guide of $730,000 to $780,000 for a renovated two-bedroom unit at 2/80 Mitchell Street in Merewether.
Listings $500,000 to $1 million
A three-bedroom house on a 765 square metre block of land at 22 Gregory Parade in Kotara has been listed through McGrath New Lambton for $850,000 to $900,000.
Belle Property Lake Macquarie are guiding $540,000 to $590,000 for a two-bedroom house at 77 Fern Valley Road, Cardiff. It is expected to appeal to the first home buyer or investor.
A two-bedroom villa at 2/224 Gosford Road, Adamstown is on the market through Robinson Property with a guide of $650,000 to $690,000.
Listings under $500,000
Belle Property Hunter Valley are marketing a freestanding four-bedroom, two-bathroom townhouse with a yard at 2/6 Howe Place in Morpeth with a guide of $470,000 to $500,000.
