There was a bit of excitement in High Street this morning (Wednesday, November 24) when Dr Harry Cooper was spotted at The Levee.
The TV vet dropped into Burkey's House of Espresso on his way to help the people of Maitland with their animal issues for Better Homes & Gardens.
Dr Harry told Mr Burke he is in town for a story in Maitland today, and did one in Dungog yesterday (Tuesday, November 23).
Also in the news:
Mr Burke believes the Maitland story could be about geese.
In early November, a call out for Dr Harry's house visits was put in a Dungog community Facebook group, calling for people with an animal problem or issue to provide their contact details to Channel 7.
His team kept the details under wraps, but we would expect something to go to air later this year.
