Maitland highway patrol Senior Constable Tony Grace said most drivers stuck to the road rules.
About 40 speeding infringements were handed out over the three-day operation in Maitland.
On October 5 at 7.50am the highway patrol pulled over a driver on the New England Highway at Maitland. The 27-year-old North Arm Cove man was driving with a disqualified licence.
His licence had been disqualified until 2027 and police charged him for driving illegally.
A 22-year-old Bellbird man was caught for high-range drink driving in the Upper Allyn region with a blood alcohol reading of 0.170.
"The fact we didn't detect a lot of drivers doing the wrong thing, coupled with the fact that injuries and fatalities were down across the Hunter, made us very happy," Senior Constable Grace said.
