Police are investigating after a woman was robbed at knifepoint in broad daylight at a Rutherford shopping complex on Tuesday.

The 49-year-old woman was approached by a man about 8.30am, who asked her a question before pulling out a small knife and demanding she hand over her handbag.
The woman complied with the man’s request and he fled the scene. She was not physically harmed in the incident.
Police said the handbag contained a phone, credit cards and a small amount of cash.
The offender was described as a male in his early 20s, about 180cm, thin build, fair complexion and wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
Police are investigating and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
